The G refers to the number of times the client has been/is pregnant.
The T refers to term births (after the completion of 37 weeks gestation).
The P refers to premature births (20 to the completion of 37 weeks gestation).
The A refers to abortions (spontaneous or elective) before 20 weeks
The L refers to currently living children.
