ATI Gastrointestinal Remediation:
Early stages symptoms of Hepatitis A:
— Anorexia, fatigue
— Later symptoms are jaundice, abdominal pain, low grade fever, dark urine, joint pain
Foods allowed following gastroplasty:
 1 oz of clear liquids including water,
 does not include juice
 Does not include carbonated beverages
Hepatitis B community Education:
 Viral infection that infects the liver
 Transmitted through blood or other bodily fluids
 Infants should be vaccinated against
Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube positioning to prevent aspiration:
 Position patient in 30-45 degree angle during feeding
 Remain patient at this degree for 30 minutes following feeding
Post op Care following splenectomy:
