Nipple Inversion

A condition in which the nipple is pulled inward into the
breast instead of pointing outward. It lies flat against the
areola or goes inward instead of sticking out. Nipple
retraction can be a congenital (present at birth)
condition as a normal variant in some women. In other
cases, it may arise as a result of disease or trauma. It can
also be called nipple inversion, nipple retraction, or invaginated nipple.
GRADES OF NIPPLE INVERSION
There are three grades of nipple inversion, depending on the degree of inversion and
mobility of the nipple:
